Celebrating Canada’s 150 with Multicultural Fashion

At this time of year, it’s not unusual to see fashion retailers doing the happy dance. That’s because spring deliveries arrive daily – and every time we unpack a box - full of color, feminine fabrics, funky prints– well, we just can’t contain our excitement!

At Silhouette Fashion Boutique, we’ve always carried mostly Canadian made fashion lines.  And we’re always on the lookout for fresh styles.  This year, in celebration of our new Salmon Arm location, we are thrilled to add fashions from Frank Lyman and Joseph Ribkoff, two of Canada’s foremost designers.

Joseph RibkoffSince 2017 is Canada’s 150th birthday, and our country proudly celebrates diversity and multi-culturalism, we thought this might be the perfect time to add a little international flavour.  So on my last buying trip I kept my eye out for a collection or two that I simply wouldn’t be able to resist.

I fell in love with SMASH, a “happy” line designed in Barcelona Spain.

Finally, a comfortable colourful graphic collection from down under, called Orientique, caught my eye. Check out our website to see these and more collections!
